I loved this movie, it was a lot of fun
I just feel like she’s completely cut out for, well, all the women, but most importantly Gilda Radner. She was key to the launch of Saturday Night Live and it felt like a huge insult to completely ignore her. I enjoyed the movie other than that, however, it’s such an oversight that it almost came across as malicious on the part of the writers.
How the hell would this movie do without Gilbert having a significant role?
I found it so blatant, like a slap in the face, that I don’t want to give it an official rating because I’m so torn. On the one hand it was fun, but on the other hand I felt so defensive about how Gilda was treated.
